The WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization) sent out a brief survey to European members to provide general inputs on trends and forecasts for handicrafts. Below are interesting responses from their members who are dealing with day-to-day sales and marketing of handicrafts. The responses are compiled by WFTO’s intern Anna Roumeliotis, a fashion arts student in Humber College, Toronto, Canada. Please note that this is not a conclusive report but an opener for more exploration on what are the expected trends for handicrafts for 2013.
