WHAT IS GLOBAL SOUTH?

The Global South 2009 Conference and Exhibition is a platform to achieve the Millennium Development Goals by promoting inclusive economic development and ethical trade at a grassroots level.

We aim to create a forum that makes significant and sustainable contributions to eradicating poverty, empowering women, ensuring environmental sustainability and supporting a global partnership for development.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
In the development of a broad, educational programme that is beneficial to all participants, Global South is soliciting abstracts on topics pertaining to sustainable development, ethical trade and inclusive economic development.

Authors are invited to submit an abstract (short summary) on a subject, project, theory, case study or issue they would like to present at the conference.

Successful authors will be invited to give a 20-minute oral presentation at the conference, or given space to hang a poster in the poster session. Submissions should comply with the inclusive economic development objectives of the conference, in the context of achieving the Millennium Development Goals.

Find all the topic information and submission requirements in the Call for Abstracts here.
